LoNero Releases Its Latest ‘Guitarcore’ Album To ITunes

July 24, 2011 – 11:20 am

The second CD ” Relentless ” was the initial manuscript that LoNero did as a band, and was the initial time you approached it with the thought of Guitarcore in mind. We went in with a coherent thought of what you longed for the manuscript to sound similar to and you had rehearsed and achieved the songs live for about 6 months before you proposed the recording process. Once you got in the college of music it was flattering easy for us to lay down tracks.

With the new manuscript ” J.F.L. ” you satisfied that you could be more prolific if you had our own recording studio. So you leased out a storage area and converted it in to our own rehearsal/recording studio. It’s essentially a one-stop-shop for us to be as imaginative as you wish without any outward interruptions or without having to watch a clock.

J: Do you feel you’ve stretched the music with this album?

BL: I feel similar to we’ve grown as a rope with this album. This is my third manuscript and LoNero’s second and instead of pier on the guitars and the unusual time signatures and the masturbatory solos we’ve made easy things and made an manuscript that has a cohesive sound that focuses on groove, stroke and melody.

We’ve moreover introduced “Punkstrumental” on “J.F.L.”. I’m a large air blower of bands similar to The Ramones and Social Distortion and the no jive perspective that they have. There is no pretentiousness about them. Their music is simple, memorable and true to the point. So on “J.F.L.” you have “Fat Tat” that is a in memory to The Ramones and “Good Luck” that is a in memory to Social Distortion. It’s instrumental punk rock. You do not need vocals to obtain your indicate across.

J: What is Guitarcore?

BL: Guitarcore is about perspective and personification what you want, when you want. And for this manuscript what you longed for were songs that were not long, drawn out yawnfests similar to so many instrumental albums out there. We moreover longed for songs with actual verses, choruses, slit and tune but in a non-vocal format.

Guitarcore is for people that admire guitar but do not wish to lay even though 15 notation guitar solos. It’s moreover for people that admire outspoken music but do not wish to lay by someone growling in to the mic. Guitarcore is about honesty and honesty. It’s about personification any type of music you wish and not having to swallow ones pride for it.

On the final CD “Relentless” I wrote a Hawaiian Slack Key strain called “Lahaina Nights.” There is moreover a strain on that CD called “Swamp Juice” and it was played on a 3 fibre strumstick.

On my initial CD “Slather” I put a latin song, a blues strain and 2 acoustic folk type songs. LoNero will put any type of music you wish on our albums no matter what the type and make no apologies for it.

Music is about countenance and if you wish to demonstrate yourself with a banjo then you should be able to do so without being criticized for it. Period! I regard my greatest situation with guitar players is no matter how great someone is, there is always someone that has to say “well he isn’t swift enough” or “his arpeggios aren’t washed enough” or “I can’t believe he only played that mode over that chord progression” etc, etc. WTF? Since when does personification guitar require you to be an Olympic contestant? I fool around guitar since I admire it. I do not caring how swift someone is or how many arpeggios they know. If I attend to their music and I can listen to that they put their heart and essence in to it (no matter how messy or washed their personification is) then I am a fan.

I have no fascination in being the fastest guitarist. I’m swift sufficient to obtain my indicate across. And when I go to YouTube and wish to watch a few guitar videos (it doesn’t matter who it is) there are always disastrous explanation from a few jackholes that may would shit their pants if they had to obviously fool around live on theatre in front of people.

J: How is this music not similar than instrumental bands similar to Satriani?

BL: Because we’re a rope in the truest clarity of the word. Nothing against Satriani or Vai or any of the other wonderful instrumental musicians out there but 9 times out of 10 it is always about the lead guitarist and his ideas and vision. I do not draw close instrumental guitar similar to everybody else. I admire outspoken music and I’ve schooled a lot by listening to outspoken music. Vocalists let the music breathe. When a vocalist is singing he takes a breath. He doesn’t sing non-stop. That’s the way I draw close instrumental. I wish the guitar to breathe. I do not must be expand every square of overpower with a few swift flicker over or arpeggio. Also our piece for one person sections aren’t 3 mins long. I obtain in, say what I must be say and obtain out. I am more shabby by Angus Young then I am by any of the instrumental guitarists out there. In fact I can’t even attend to instrumental guitar honestly. It bores me to death.

J: Who is your aim audience?

BL: Anyone that will listen. Anyone that doesn’t have preconceived notions of what instrumental is. Anyone that listens to music with an open mind. We’re an instrumental stone rope for people that do not normally similar to instrumental stone since 1) it’s all the same 2) since it’s often wanking guitars and 3) since even even though you do not have vocals you write the music as if a thespian is going to sing over the tip of the music.

J: What was it similar to using Michael Rosen (Metallica, Testament, Joe Satriani , Santana, Papa Roach)?

BL: It was fantastic. He is a great guy/engineer/producer. I schooled a lot from him. He has a great notice of music. He approaches music from a listener’s viewpoint, that for us is terrific. The final thing you longed for is someone to advance in and discuss it us you must be confuse the songs.

J: Tell me about the rigging you used on this album.

BL: We used all from an all original 1953 Les Paul Goldtop to a Ken Lawrence “Hetfield,” Jerry Jones Baritone, Peavey Wolfgangs, Paul Reed Smith, Bolan Les Paul etc.

For amps you used a Wizard Modern Classic 50W, law Dave Friedman EVH 50W, Roccaforte, Voodoo V-Rock 100W, Peavey Triple XXX and many other amps and guitars.

I’d similar to to appreciate Dr. Michael Burry for a few wonderful gear. He’s a rigging backer and has a great set of ears. The man knows tone. So when you proposed the pre-production is to manuscript he came to us with all this astounding apparatus and it unequivocally made a outrageous disparity on the tinge and citation of this album.

J: Do you have tours/shows planned?

BL: Yes. We will be carrying out about 13 shows with Pat Travers starting in August. It’s primarily on the West Coast but speak of a few mid-west dates have been tossed around. We are moreover carrying out a few shows on our own and hope to obtain on a debate shortly to obtain out as far as possible.

J: When you aren’t personification LoNero music, what do you similar to to play?

BL: If you’re conversing about what I attend to when I’m not personification LoNero music then that would have to be AC/DC, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Metallica, (old) Exodus, Death Angel, Megadeth, Barry Manilow, Social Distortion, The Ramones, Todd Snider, Dream Theater, Jeff Beck, Johnny Cash, Marilyn Manson, and Waylon Jennings.

J: Where is the manuscript available?

BL: It’s existing in iTunes , at LoNero.net , NightmareRecords.com and many sell outlets in the states and abroad. If you do not see it in the store only inquire them and they can demand it.
